The Federal Issue Cartridge Box Belt features an eagle breast plate and will be stamped with the contractor stamp "Sproulls Meeker & Co. New York".The leather is oiled and greased by hand for long lasting use.

Confederate Issue Cap Pouch

Confederate Issue Cap Pouch. It is constructed of blackened oak tanned leather; features a professionally manufactured, rock hard, molded pouch and a finial which is an antique black Japanned iron wagon tarp button. The large thumbtack looking buttons were used on many different types of accoutrements manufactured in the south during the American Civil War and was present on the original specimen examined. The Confederate Cap Pouch does not have an inner rain flap or a small interior cone pick loop. Entirely handmade and hand sewn using 19th century leather working techniques. The leather is oiled and greased by hand for long lasting use.
